The Office of University Relations (UR) directs campus advertising, marketing, and public relations programs, and oversees design and infrastructure for the campus website.
- Media Relations. UR serves as the voice of the campus through news releases, brochures and other publications. As primary contact for the media, UR facilitates information requests, arranges interviews with campus experts, and forwards news tips and story ideas. On campus, UR is the place to send information and to seek assistance in dealing with the media.
- Public Relations. UR strategically promotes the campus through a variety of communications and special events. UR identifies the university's key messages and promotes those messages through the campus website, publications, and advertising; directs special events and projects; and provides public relations counsel to administrators, faculty and staff.
- Marketing. UR develops integrated marketing communications strategies to advance the campus mission and image among a wide range of audiences. This includes building brand identity, coordinating advertising, media, and print vendors, and managing campus publications and communications processes.
- Publications & Photography. UR offers a wide range of services, including photography, print production and web design. While UR's primary role in photography is to produce news photos, we also cover such campus activities as visiting dignitaries, special events, and athletics.
