Admission Checklist

Please look at the chart below to find the category which best describes you and then read across the columns to determine your admission requirements and procedures. All UW-Baraboo/Sauk County applicants are required to submit a UW System application except college special students and auditors, who may submit a special student application form.

Notes:

    • UW filing fee is not required if transferring from another UW institution where the application fee was previously paid and the student matriculated.
    • Transcripts required if you attended a college or university after previous enrollment at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County
    • After special students earn 6 credits, they are required to complete the required UW System application, pay the application fee, and submit transcripts of high school and post-secondary work. Second undergraduate degree candidates are exempted from this requirement.
    • Auditors may enroll in lecture type classes only and then only on a space available basis.
    • A complete application contains: application for admission, H.S. and college transcripts, ACT or SAT scores (only for new freshmen applicants under 21 years of age) and $44 application fee paid.
    • If applying under the Youth Options Program, contact your high school for additional application requirements.
