Student Government Association (SGA)

Student Government Association is the official representative and legislative group on campus. SGA works with faculty, staff, and students on a wide range of campus-specific and system-wide issues.

SGA also helps develop the annual segregated fee budget, which funds all co-curricular activities, including varsity and intramural sports and all other recognized student clubs and organizations.

SGA Elections
SGA elections are held in the spring for the following academic year's President, Constitution and Elections Chair, and two student senators. In the fall, the remaining six seats are elected. You don't have to be an elected member of SGA to participate in SGA meetings or activities.

For more information contact the SGA advisor: teresa.pleger@uwc.edu.
