Tutoring

The campus Academic Success Center (ASC) provides advising services, as well as tutoring in math, writing and science. These services are provided to students enrolled at the campus and are free of charge.

Math: Tutoring is available five days a week on a drop-in basis. The ASC also provides a variety of other resources, including solution manuals, sample tests, supplemental texts.

Writing: Tutoring is available four days a week and, though drop-ins are welcome, appointments are encouraged. There are various writing resources kept in the ASC: handouts on style, word choice, transition, comma usage, thesis development. There are also documentation resources and a number of writer's handbooks.

The ASC is located in Room A51, on the lower level of the Classroom/Administration Building. Students can use the space from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday and until 4:30 pm on Fridays. A staff member is typically available 8:30 am - 4:30 pm on weekdays.
