Orientation
New student orientation programs provide an important opportunity to learn more about your upcoming experiences at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County. These programs provide information regarding advising and registration, campus life, university resources, services, facilities, as well as the opportunity to meet and interact with other students, faculty, and staff. Separate programs are provided for both new freshman and new transfer students.

New Freshmen Orientation Program
(3-part program for students entering in fall semester)

I  Convocation: New Fresman

For new freshmen and parents or spouse
Wednesday, August 29 from 7-9:00pm

II  Student Orientation, Advising, & Registration (S.O.A.R.) Program
New freshmen sign up for one of the following SOAR sessions by calling the Office of Student Services at (608) 355-5230.

III Transfer Student Orientation Program

Fall 2007

10:30am - 12:30pm

Spring 2008

In order to support orientation and advising programs for incoming students, the following one-time orientation fees are automatically included in the first semester tuition & fees for the following categories of students:

New Freshmen:       $100

Transfer Students:  $  35
