Boo-U Paranormal Society (BUPS)
The purpose of BUPS is to objectively investigate, using scientific methodology, alleged paranormal activity through respect, truth and integrity. The club is comprised of people with the goal to study and research paranormal events to gain a better understanding of their nature and causes. The group does not provide consulting services or any reports claiming an expert opinion.

Chess Club brings chess playing opportunities to the campus in a friendly and educational setting.

Computer Science Club is devoted to learning how to make programs with different computer languages.

Dance Team
The Dance Team performs during men’s basketball home games and has previously competed in state and national competitions. The team is open to all students who are interested in dance and willing to attended practices and performances.

Disc Golf Club
The purpose of the Disc Golf club is to allow individuals with an interest in the sport of Disc Golf an opportunity to learn more about the specific rules and to meet new players in the area as well as out of the area in competitive and non-competitive settings at the Baraboo course or travel to other courses sponsoring tournaments and also to raise funds to fix up and maintain the campus Disc Golf Course.

Film Club
Film Club is open for to all students who appreciate and enjoy film and movies. It allows those with an interest to expand their knowledge, and it provides a forum for film-makers to practice their art.

Fitness Club
The purpose of this club is to help people get motivated/stay in shape. We will help people learn proper techniques as well as introduce new workouts to target their goals. We will also have help available for nutrition facts, meal breakdowns, and workout plans.

The Gaming Club gathers to play tabletop RPGs and other games.

Green/STEM Club
The Green /STEM Club is active in increasing awareness of environmental sustainability and stewardship. The Club to provide lectures and films focused on sustainability. As well as promoting an understanding of careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines.

The Navigators
“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” Mark 16:15. Membership is open to anyone who would like to come. This group participates in various community services projects as well as bible study for those who choose to attend.

Outdoor Club
The Outdoor Club plans a wide range of social and educational activities – from skiing, rock climbing, and hot air ballooning to camping, and white water rafting. Outdoor Club Activities are open to all students.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Phi Theta Kappa is an internationally-recognized Honor Society that acknowledges academic achievement, leadership and service. Phi Theta Kappa membership is the highest academic honor students can receive at a two-year college. Membership is open to UW-B/SC students who have earned at least 12 credits, a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a record of good citizenship.

The mission of this organization is to educate anyone who wants to learn about lesbian, bi-sexual, gay, transvestite, trans-sexual and queer issues and how to make a difference. It is also the goal of this organization to get the community involved.

Rotaract
Rotaract is a service organization and our goal is to provide opportunities to foster leadership and promote responsible citizenship while serving our community and beyond. Our efforts begin at the local level by addressing physical and social needs and extend to the larger global community. Students interested in meeting other service-minded individuals and community leaders and developing professional and leadership skills are encouraged to join. Rotaract is affiliated with the Rotary Club of Baraboo and Rotary International. New members are welcome at any time.

The purpose of the Experience Scotland Club will be to provide students planning to participate in the Experience Scotland study abroad program with information, support, and the opportunity to fundraise for the many necessary costs.

Spirit Lake Review
Spirit Lake Review, the annual campus literary magazine, was founded in 2004. Spirit Lake Review publishes fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and art by UW-BSC students and by community members.

Student Government Association
Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representative and legislative group on campus. SGA works with the faculty, staff and students on a wide range of campus-specific and system-wide issues. SGA also helps develop the annual segregated fee budget, which funds all co-curricular activities, including varsity athletics and all other recognized student clubs. You don’t have to be an elected member of SGA to participate in SGA meetings and activities.

UW-BSC Ambassadors
The Student Ambassadors Program allows students to serve the campus by acting as host for visitors, student body representatives at various functions and group leaders during freshman orientation. Through their service to the campus, UW-BSC Ambassadors have valuable opportunities to build communication and leadership skills.

Vintage Spirits
Vintage Spirits is an organization of returning adult students and others who share their concerns – being married, having children, or other life circumstances which have resulted in not following a “traditional” educational path. Vintage Spirits offers support, as well as a chance to meet other students. In addition, programs are offered in such areas as financial aid, wellness, study skills, time management and career development.
