The Wiscard Advantage

Wiscard is convenient.
It's easier to manage than a checkbook and sure beats finding an ATM and standing in line. To use your Wiscard account, simply present your UW Baraboo ID to the cashier. The amount of purchase is automatically deducted. Keeping track of your balance is easy, too. Your receipt shows you how much money you have left in your account.

Wiscard is flexible.
Beyond the initial deposit, you decide how much money to keep in your account. Wiscard can be a primary meal account or used just to cover lunches, snacks and occasional purchases while you're on campus.

Wiscard is safer than cash.
With Wiscard there is no money stored on your ID card. If you lose your card, you can deactivate it immediately by using the Report Lost Card link on this website. Or simply alert the Business Office immediately at (608) 355-5210.

Wiscard saves you money.
UW Baraboo students save 5.5% on food purchased at restaurants or delis with any of the three Wiscard accounts. In addition, the Cafeteria Meal Plan offers all participants (even faculty ad staff) an additional 5% discount. This equals a total savings of 10.5% for students!

It's easy to sign up for Wiscard.
You're ready to go in 3 simple steps.

  1. Choose an account that's right for you.
  2. Activate your account online or complete and return the Wiscard application form.
  3. Deposit money in your Wiscard account. Deposits can be made online or at the UW Baraboo Business Office.
